Pharoah Sanders at New Morning: A member of John Coltrane’s bands and an influence on his sound, Sanders is one of the last living giants of free jazz. Like Ornette Coleman, who has praised him as “probably the best tenor player in the world,” a love of RnB comes through even in his wildest playing.
